How Link-Based Guest Access Works

Guest access allows you to quickly and securely share selected spaces via temporary links without creating individual accounts for every reader.

Setup Steps

1. Create a User: Set up an account with the Guest role and assign it to the relevant spaces.
2. Generate a Link: Navigate to the "Guest Access" section and generate a temporary link for this user.
3. Configure Restrictions: You can create multiple links with custom settings:
   • Visit Limit: Set the maximum number of allowed views.
   • Expiration Date: Define a specific date after which access is automatically revoked.

How It Works for Readers

When visiting the generated link, the user gains instant read-only access to all spaces assigned to that guest account. As soon as the visit limit is reached or the expiration date passes, access is automatically terminated by the system.
